Implementation of Frequency Demodulation in LABVIEW

Implementation of Frequency Demodulation in LABVIEW

Introduction:

Frequency demodulation is a demodulation technique used in electronic communication, most commonly for FM demodulation or detection involves changing the frequency variations in a signal into amplitude variations at baseband, e.g. audio.

An FM signal consists of a carrier which acts as the reference. Any modulation that is applied then appears as sidebands which stretch out either side of the signal - each sideband is a mirror image of the other.
When demodulating a signal, two basic steps may be considered:
1)    Create baseband signal
2)    Filters

Some applications of frequency demodulation is telephone receiver.

Conclusion: .

In this lab I have learned that how demodulation occur how we can extract message signal from carrier

Signal using butter worth as filter. I notice that low cutoff frequency changing the behavior of signal and

High frequency has no impact on the signal and as we increase order accuracy of the signal increases

And if we decrease order rate then signal accuracy decreases and distortion occur.
