Title :
(i) Embedded Processor and
Microcontrollers
(ii) To Introduce keypad of MTS-86C
Microprocessor Trainer
Objectives: To get familiar with Processor,
microcontroller practically
Build in MTS-86c trainer.
Procedures:
A microprocessor is the central processing unit of a computer
constructed
With in a single chip.
To make a complete microprocessor it needs to be
Connected to
·
Memory
to store data.
·
RAM
·
ROM
·
I/O
·
Control
circuit.
Serial Port: RS232,
USB port, Ps2
Types of Microprocessor:
(i)
Specific
Microprocessor
(ii)
General
Purpose Microprocessor
Difference b/w Microprocessor and
Microcontroller:
Microprocessor consume more power as
compare to Microcontroller.
Speed of Microprocessor in higher
than Microcontroller.
Its size is less than
Microcontroller.
Microprocessor cannot work
independently.
